Mellissa + Jeff | Muskoka Bay Club

This is the latest nuptial ceremony I have filmed with the help of my awesome team of 5, 2 photographers and 3 filmmakers, held in the incredible 17,000 square foot Clifftop Clubhouse in Muskoka Bay Golf Club, Gravehurst.

The plan was a garden wedding but the weather did not play along. It was raining hard which compelled the ceremony to be held indoors. Around 5pm the rain has ceased and sun came out in a unclouded sky, perfect for pictorial.

Melissa and Jeff first met on a blind date which turned out to be a success and fell in love on the second day. Their plan is to have a big happy family and be in love..and their wedding day officially marks the beginning of this journey as husband and wife.

The magnificent venue complemented the stunning bride and groom, as well as their entourage. They all looked impressively dazzling that I even thought for a second that I am filming celebrities, that is for example, the bride closely resembles Katy Perry and her sister, Taylor Swift. It was a wonderful experience and to top it off, the mother’s bride’s mother, Betty displayed hospitable acts treated me with warmth.

Typically, it takes 2 to 3 hours to create an SDE (Same day edit) video. This time, I had to show the SDE earlier than expected and with the limited time and pressure, it was quite challenging. Determined to satisfy and meet the newly wedded couple’s expectations up to the full extent, I stayed focused and inspired. Amazingly I pulled though..SDE turned out splendid and well-liked!

I always take sensible time to ensure that each and every one of the SDE I make will be the highest degree of quality. For it will be a timeless reminder of how couples are solemnly joined in marriage before their loved ones. Extraordinary moments such as wedding rites that are failed to be captured appropriately, cannot be re-enacted. So to the best of my ability, I aim to record in precision and put together their special memories without imperfection.
Thank goodness, despite some inevitable difficult circumstances, I have continued to succeed. Couldn’t have done it without my team’s hard work and enthusiasm of every couples I am blessed to be of service.

To Melissa and Jef, cheers to a happy family life! Lots of luck!
