“Though she be but little, she is fierce.” This is so true of Rachel Fermo. I was honoured to film and capture the essence of Rachel on her 18th birthday. A voracious reader, a Math whiz, honours student, a pianist and a soccer player, her enthusiasm and love for life parallels her story of how she was born into this world, from Halton Hills, then New York and finally her family settling in Ontario. Her seemingly whirlwind beginnings left a mark in her life, as she continues to explore her world… she loves Paris, New York and Russia…. Her early life and travels have broadened her outlook in life and this is evident in her very nature – grounded, intelligent, and charismatic.
